Our Beliefs

Bridge of Hope Church began March 18, 2012. We are affiliated through fellowship and accountability with the Assemblies of God. Our slogan at “The Bridge” is Connecting People to God, Community, and Each Other. We strive to help you connect; first in your relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, secondly to those around us by sharing the Good News and love of Jesus, and finally with one another as brothers and sisters encouraging each other in our spiritual journey.

Our desire is that your entire family (including children) will find your place so you can mature and be thoroughly prepared to serve others. Remember that our dress is casual, the worship is contemporary and ministry to your children is important to us. We strive to have excellent children’s ministry where the Word of God is taught in a practical and fun way at their level.

We invite you to take a three-week challenge visiting BOH at least three times before making a final decision because we feel it takes a few visits for us to get to know each other. We are confident you will find us to be an inviting group of believers maturing together in Christ.

Whether you are young or old, single or married, we invite you to come and exalt the Lord Jesus with us as we worship and fellowship every Sunday and Wednesday. We appreciate the opportunity to teach you the Word of God that gives you the answers for which you’ve been searching.

We Believe …

  • in the Bible as the inspired and only infallible written Word of God.
  • in one God, eternally existent in three persons; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
  • in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death and His bodily resurrection.
  • in the mandate to evangelize the world and make disciples.
  • in the Blessed Hope — the rapture of the church at Christ’s coming.

  • in cleansing from sin through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.
  • in the redemptive work of Jesus to provide healing through faith.
  • in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4.
  • in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.
  • in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, one to everlasting life (heaven) and the other to everlasting damnation (hell).
