Wildfire Youth Ministries
According to Oxford Dictionaries, one of the definitions of a wildfire is a combustible liquid such as Greek fire that was readily ignited and difficult to extinguish, used especially in warfare.
We here at wildfire youth ministries love the definition because it states a combustible liquid readily ignited and difficult to extinguish. Obviously, we are not talking about fires that destroy land nor warfare in the world’s sense. We are talking about the baptism of fire that Jesus came to give us. Hebrews 12:29 states that our God is a consuming fire. We want to be possessed by this consuming fire.
Every week, we encourage and inspire each other in order to stir each other up for good works and love. We desire His presence. We desire to live a life with God’s burning love inside of us that we may impact those around us.
Wildfire desires to ignite others with God’s love that will never be extinguished. He loves you so much. Revelations 19:12 says that Jesus’s eyes are like blazing fire. His love is so pure. We want to become that very same love. 1 John 2:6 says that if we abide in Him, we should walk (should live) as Jesus walked.
Becoming like Him is our destiny. (Romans 8:29) Come and join us in our journey in learning what it means to be a son or daughter of the living God. Come and let us run this race well together. Come and find who you are. Come and be ignited!
